Rules of Engagement for Course Participants
Complete Implant Residency / Complete Implant Residency Online / Virtual Study Club / CDES
This document outlines the official agreement between registrants and BITES Institute™. The Complete Implant Residency (CIR), Complete Implant Residency Online (CIRO), Virtual Study Club, and CDES are subsidiary training programs offered under the BITES Institute™ education platform.
1. Participant Commitments
All registrants are expected to:
• Complete all assigned course materials within the designated timeframe
• Submit all assignments and quizzes by their respective deadlines
• Attend all hands-on workshops in full
• Demonstrate competency in all practical workshop tasks
• Wear scrubs during all clinical hands-on and live surgery sessions
• Actively assist during Supervised Live Surgery components
2. Module Completion & Grading
• Each module requires a minimum passing grade of 70%
• Failure to achieve this grade will result in:
– Ineligibility to progress to the next module
– Disqualification from receiving continuing education (CE) credits or certification
3. Sequential Learning Policy
• Modules and quizzes must be completed in the presented sequence
• Skipping, reordering, or delaying modules without approval is not permitted
4. Deadline Compliance
• Each module must be completed by the deadline set forth
• Failure to meet a deadline may result in:
– Disqualification from related hands-on sessions
– Removal from the CIR/CIRO program
– No refunds will be granted under these circumstances
5. Surgery Participation Eligibility
• Only participants who have completed and passed all prior modules and demonstrated full workshop competency may take part in Live Surgery sessions
6. Licensing & CE Responsibility
• CE credits earned may not be recognized by all jurisdictions
• It is the participant’s responsibility to verify CE recognition with their own licensing or regulatory body
• Registrants are responsible for acquiring their provincial or regional license (e.g., through the CDSBC). Licensing fees are not included in tuition
7. Intellectual Property & Content Usage Policy
• All content in the CIR, CIRO, Virtual Study Club, and CDES programs is the intellectual property of BITES Institute™
• Participants are strictly prohibited from:
– Sharing course materials with non-registered individuals
– Granting access to others
– Downloading, recording, capturing, or distributing any content without explicit authorization
• Any violation may result in immediate expulsion and legal action
8. CE Credit Limitation & Re-enrollment Policy
• CE credits for on-demand programs are granted only once per registrant per program
• Re-enrollment in the same on-demand course will not result in the issuance of additional CE credits
• It is the participant’s responsibility to track CE eligibility based on prior participation history
9. Contingency Policy for Unforeseen Circumstances
In the event of unexpected disruptions (e.g., COVID-19 or other force majeure), BITES Institute™ reserves the right to:
• Modify the format or delivery method of the course (e.g., live digital instruction)
• Replace speakers, mentors, or facilitators if travel is restricted or unavailable
• Reschedule any hands-on workshops or live surgeries as necessary
Refund / Cancellation Policy
(Important: Please read carefully)
All registrations for digital content-based programs are non-refundable.
Once you register for any of our online or on-demand courses, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
In-person course refund eligibility:
If you are unable to attend, a partial refund may be issued only if written notice is provided at least 60 days prior to the course start date. A 20% administrative fee will be deducted from the tuition.
Cancellations made between 30–60 days before the course start date are eligible for a 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than 30 days before the course start date, or no-shows, are not eligible for any refund.
Course credit transfers for last-minute cancellations are no longer available.
BITES Institute reserves the right to cancel a course in the event of unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, registrants will receive a full refund. BITES Institute is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the registrant (e.g., travel, accommodation).
Course registration is non-transferable and may not be assigned or shared with another individual.
