Rules of Engagement for Course Participants
Comprehensive Implant Residency / Comprehensive Implant Residency Online / Virtual Study Club / CDES
This is an agreement between registrants and BITES Institute™. The Complete Implant Residency(CIR) and the Complete Implant Residency Online (CIRO), VIRTUAL STUDY CLUB curriculum are subsidiary training programs of BITES INSTITUTE.
Participants who register for the Complete Implant Residency (CIR) and/or the Complete Implant Residency Online (CIRO), Virtual Study Club program are expected to abide by the following conditions:
1. All registrants are to:
• Study the course material to its completion within the timeframe stipulated;
• Complete & submit/upload their assignments by the deadline stipulated;
• Attend all hands-on workshops;
• Demonstrate competency in all workshop assignments, and
• Complete and submit quizzes by the deadline stipulated.
• Wear scrubs during hands-on workshops and surgery.
• Participate and assist during Supervised Live Surgery.
2. The passing grade for each module is 70%. Failure to achieve a passing grade precludes the registrant from advancing to the next module. Additionally, continuing education credits and certification will not be awarded to registrants with non-passing grades or incomplete modules.
3. Registrants are to complete and pass modules and quizzes in the sequence modules are presented.
4. Registrants are to complete each module by the deadline stipulated. Failure to meet this deadline will exclude the registrant from attending hands-on workshops and/or result in the registrant being removed from the CIR/CIRO program. (Note: There is no refund for registrants who do not complete the program.)
5. Registrants must demonstrate full workshop competency and pass every module before they are permitted to participate in the live surgery sessions.
6. Continuing education credits issued for your participation in this CE activity may not apply toward license renewal in all licensing jurisdictions. It is your responsibility to verify the CE requirements of your licensing or regulatory agency.
7. Registrants are responsible for attaining their own provincial license through the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia; (Note: licensing fees are not part of the tuition.)
8. Registrants acknowledge that the curriculum and content of CIR / CIRO are the intellectual property of BITES INSTITUTE. Registrants agree to not share, not give access to, or distribute said content to non-registered users. Unauthorized downloads screen capture/recording or distribution is strictly prohibited. BITES INSTITUTE reserves the right to take legal action against registrants found in violation of this condition.
In the event of Unforeseen/Unexpected situations (i.e. COVID19), BITES INSTITUTE reserves the right to:
1. change venue and/or format of the training curriculum (digital live format).
2. replace the presenter/lecturer/mentor in case they cannot travel.
3. modify course/workshop/live surgery dates.
